The first treatment is preceded by a dermatological consultation, in which we will discuss the treatment in detail and contraindications.

  • it is recommended that the patient be well hydrated
  • avoid aspirin and other blood thinners
  • the skin should not be tanned (suntan, self-tanner)
  • important – 24 hours before and after the procedure do not consume alcohol
  • the skin should be clean – creams and lotions shouldn’t be used
  • the skin is cleaned
  • patient receives protective glasses
  • ultrasound gel is applied

The procedure is painless; however, the patient may feel warm and/or light burning. To reduce discomfort during the procedure, the device head is cooled. It may be uncomfortable to apply the gel due to the possibility of feeling cold. Depending on the surface on which the procedure is performed, it may last from about 20 to 30 minutes.

You may experience sensations similar to those after a strong tan/light sunburn. The skin may be red and hot, there may also be a burning sensation, which is why we apply cold compresses at the place of treatment. The tenderness and swelling of the treatment area can last from several hours to several days. With proper healing, the regeneration time lasts about 3 days.

  • The skin should be treated gently up to 2-3 days after the procedure:
    – particular care of the cleanliness and hygiene of the place of the treatment
    – wash with soap-free gel, non-alcoholic tonic or clean water
    – avoid hot baths
    – dry gently, do not rub, do not irritate in any other way
    – soothing and regenerating creams are recommended. 2 – 3 times a day
  •  Alcohol consumption is prohibited for a few days after the treatment
  • For 4-5 days, physical exercises, sauna and solarium are not recommended.
  • For 2 weeks after the procedure exfoliating cosmetics are prohibited.
  • For 4 weeks after the procedure sunbathing is prohibited; it is recommended to use sunblock with SPF + 50 or more
  • Vitamin C 1000 Plus and vitamin E supplementation supporting collagen healing and re-modelling (this also protects against discoloration)

Rarely frequent complications after surgery can be:

  • redness and swelling – signs that follow directly after treatments that should disappear automatically after a few hours to a maximum of several days
  • bruising or burns epidermis – changes that may appear with very sensitive skin, darker complexions or on tanned skin
  • dryness and peeling of the skin – symptoms which may persist for several days after the treatment
  • brown scabs – exfoliate and disappear in the healing process (on the face after 7 – 10 days, on the body even after about 3 weeks).
